500 displaced villagers from Kyike Hto unable to return home

HURFOM: At late 2024, the 310^th artillery regiment had launched military operation and artillery attack to villages in Kyike Hto Township, Mon State and more than 500 villagers of 166 households from Kyike Hto Town, Pha Yar Lay and Yay Way villages of Kyike Hto Township and Kyauk Lone Gyi village of Bilin Township have to flee from their home.

Dump trucks of junta’s project create transportation hardship to local residents

HURFOM: Local villagers reported HURFOM that six-wheel dump trucks from the junta’s international airport and seaport in Mudon, Township, Mon State have been creating transportation hardship to local residents since early March, 2025.

Junta’s air strike kills two palm oil plantation workers and injures other seven

HURFOM: On March 24^th, 2025, even there was no active armed clash in nearby area, the military junta dropped two 500-pound bombs into the palm oil plantation owned by the “Kyaw Maw 19 Palm Oil Company” in Chaung La Mu village, Tenasserim Township, Tenasserim Division.

Two children injured by artillery attack in Kaw Ka Rate

HURFOM: On March 23^rd, 2025, there had been an intense battle between the military junta and the Karen National Liberation Army nearby Kaw Ka Rate Town, Karen State.

At about 4 pm, an artillery shell dropped and exploded on a house in Ward #2, Kaw Ka Rate Town and the explosion injured two children.

Two Nyin Htwe residents killed by junta’s artillery attack

HURFOM: On March 24^th, 2025, the local revolutionary forces launched an attack to the junta’s troops who were laying in ambush between Nyin Htwe and Kyauk Ka Nyar villages, Yebyu Township, Tenasserim Division and there was an intense battle.

Junta’s artillery attack kills monk and injures two in Kyike Hto

HURFOM: On March 21^st, 2025, the military junta launched an artillery attack from the house of Pyu Saw Htee (military supporter) Aung Gyi in Lat Pan village, Wall Township, Pegu Division.   The artillery shell exploded in the dining hall of the “Myauk Kyaung” monastery in Kha Ywelve village, Kyike Hto Township, Mon State.

Junta’s air attack kills two local men in Kaw Ka Rate

HURFOM: On March 19^th, 2025, the military junta used a Yak-130 fighter jet to drop bombs on Ta Ba Lu Kho Khee village, Kaw Ka Rate Township, Karen State. The village is under the control of the Karen National Union.

Junta arrests three Maung Ma Kan residents and forces them into conscription

HURFOM: On March 14^th, 2025, junta’s troops based at the security gate at the Ka Myaw King Bridge, Long Lone Township, Tenasserim Division arrested three local men from Maung Ma Kan village tract and forced them into military conscription, according to local sources and their family members.
