Three civilians injured during armed attack at Mote Pa Lin Check-point

HURFOM: On February 23rd, 2024, the joint revolutionary forces attacked the soldiers and police forces stationed at the check-point near Mote Pa Lin village, Kyiek Hto Township, Mon State.
During the armed clash, two civilians and a 40-year-old female street vendor were shot and sustained injuries.
“A street vendor and two travelers were shot. The two travelers have been sent to the general hospital in Wall Township, Pegu Division immediately. The vendor has been sent to the Kyike Hto General Hospital. Their injuries aren’t serious,” said an official from a local rescue team.
The Kyike Hto Revolutionary Forces (KRF) stated that six police members were killed and another three were injured during the attack. The KRF has issued an apology for injuring innocent civilians.
