Junta’s artillery attacks injure two women in Long Lone

HURFOM: On November 12th, 2025, a battle between a junta regiment and local revolutionary forces broke out near Nyin Maw village, Long Lone Township, Tenasserim Division.
The regiment was advancing on a palm oil plantation located between Nyin Maw and Gog In villages. There a confrontation took place with the local resistance forces in the early morning of November 12th. The regiment responded with artillery attacks.
The artillery attacks launched by the junta injured two local women from Sit Pyell village.
“They were staying on the farm. The artillery attacks were launched from Dawei City and exploded at the farm. The women were at the farm because now, it is the harvest season,” said a local man.
According to villagers, the junta’s base in Kyat Sar Pyin Ward, Dawei City and the military ship of the navy unit has been launching artillery attacks all day until the evening.
After the battle, the regiment burnt down two houses in Yin Boat village and destroyed three motorbikes from Nyin Maw village.
“They searched the houses in Nyin Maw from top to bottom. In the evening, I saw smoke coming from the area where the armed clash took place,” said a local source.
The military advance and the armed clashes have forced thousands of residents from Nyin Maw, Sit Pyell, Lay Thon Khan and Gog Inn villages of Long Lone Township and some villages of Yebyu Township to flee their homes.
