Toddler raped and left in life-threatening condition

On March 8^th, 2025, a 20-month-old child from Lake Inn War Taw Street, Thaton Town, Mon State was raped and left in a life-threatening condition, according to a local source.

Entire village flees due to constant artillery attacks in Ka Nyone Kyune village

HURFOM: On March 10^th, a military junta’s boat which was traveling along the Dawei River was attacked by the Dawei District Revolutionary Alliances. On March 11th, in response, the junta responded with indiscriminate artillery attacks to nearby areas.

Junta arrests 20 travelers and villagers on Myeik – Tenasserim Road

HURFOM: Since March 5^th, 2025, approximately 100 troops with the military junta have been setting up a temporary or mobile check-point on the Myeik – Tenasserim Road near Tenasserim Town, Tenasserim Division.  They are conducting a “stop and check” of motorbikes and vehicles.

Junta arrests local man in Ye Town

HURFOM: On March 11^th, 2025, the military junta arrested the son of U Kyaw Kyaw, (45 years old), at his home in Thiri Kay Mar Ward, Ye Town, Ye Township, Mon State.  The junta accused him of having connections with the People’s Defense Force.

HURFOM: On March 10^th, 2025, the military junta dropped bombs by drone on R Luu Lay village, Bilin Township, Mon State resulting in two local men sustaining injuries.

Ten conscripts manage to escape in Kaw Thaung

HURFOM: Local residents from Kaw Thaung Town, Kaw Taung Township, Tenasserim Division, reported to HURFOM that ten men who were forcefully collected as conscripts by the military junta managed to escape.

Four arrested business owners from Paung Township still not released 

HURFOM: On February 24^th, 2025, the military junta arrested the Chief of the Fire Brigade, the Vice Chief of the Township General Administration Department and four business owners from Paung Township, Mon State at their homes, after accusing them of providing financial and food support to the People’s Defense Force.

Junta’s air assault injures woman and child in Boat Pyin

HURFOM: At approximately 3 pm on March 10^th, 2025, the military junta launched an air assault on Khell Chaung village near Pyi Gyi Mam Die Town, Boat Pyin Township, Tenasserim Division.  The assault injured a local woman and a 9-year-old child.

Man steps on landmine in Thanbyuzayat and loses leg

HURFOM: On March 7^th, 2025, 43-year-old Ko Nandar Tun from Well Kha Me village, Thanbyuzayat Township, Mon State stepped on a landmine while cleaning at his plantation.

The explosion severed his left ankle and landmine debris injured his right leg, left arm and lower jaw.

HURFOM: On March 10^th, 2025, local villagers found two 25-year-old young men shot and killed at the entrance of Ka Log Tog village, Mudon Township, Mon State.
