Family car attacked by armed group: Four injured in Ye Township

HURFOM: On June 28, 2023, a family car traveling on the Ye-Dawei Highway Road was attacked near the entrance of Ka Log village, Ye Township, Mon State at 9 am.
The car was headed to Dawei and a man, two women and a one-and-half-year-old baby were injured in the attack, reported local sources.
“The woman driver was seriously injured and was sent to Yangon. Other victims were sent to Ye General Hospital,” said a resident.
It is still unknown which armed group is responsible for the attack but local villagers reported to HURFOM that the military junta has established a base near Ka Log village.
