HURFOM: At noon on September 28th, 2025, a junta regiment advanced into Min Pyin village, Pu Law Township, Tenasserim Division and clashed with the local joint revolutionary forces.
According to the local sources, after the clash, the regiment torched two houses located between Pa La Town and Min Pyin village.
“The armed clash lasted for about an hour. Two soldiers died in the battle. In the evening, the regiment put the bodies of two soldiers in two houses located on the Union Highway Road between Pa La and Min Pyin and burnt down the houses,” said a villager.
In the last week of July, 2025, the junta launched aerial and drone attacks during the Pa La Battle forcing thousands of residents from Min Pyin and nearby villages to flee their homes. The displaced villagers have been unable to return home as of September 30th.
After the revolutionary forces attacked Pa La Town, the junta has been reinforcing its troop presence. They have been conducting military advances, and have launched aerial and navy attacks that have killed more than 20 residents and destroyed at least 40 houses.
