Junta’s artillery attacks damage two house and injure local man

HURFOM: On October 3rd, 2024, an armed clash between the military junta and the resistance forces took place near Pane Nell Taw village, Kyike Hto Township, Mon State.
The 310th artillery regiment based in Thane Za Yet launched artillery attacks.
One of the artillery shells exploded on the house of Daw Htwe Thein and the house was destroyed.
“As soon as we got the information about the movement of the regiment, all the villagers in the nearby area fled. As the house was empty, there were no casualties,” said a Kyike Hto resident.
Another armed clash took place between the junta and the joint resistance forces near Pyin Ka Doe village on November 4th.
One of the junta’s artillery shells exploded on the house of U Thein Tun in Pyin Ga Doe village. The house was destroyed and he sustained a spinal injury.
“The junta’s artillery attack dropped on his house. The house was destroyed and he suffered a spinal injury. Now, he is receiving treatment in a liberated area,” said a Kyiek Hto resident.
On November 12th, there was an armed clash in Kyike Hto Township and the junta’s artillery attacks injured at least five villagers and killed one resident.
