Artillery attacks injure two women and child in Tenasserim

HURFOM: In the evening of October 14th, 2025, junta forces launched artillery attacks on Ban La Mut village, Tenasserim Township, Tenasserim Division injuring two local women and a child.
The 306th regiment based in Maw Tone village, Tenasserim Township launched two artillery attacks, and one shell exploded among the residential houses in Ban La Mut village.
The explosion injured an 80-year-old elderly woman, a 50-year-old woman and a five-year-old child.
“The artillery debris hit the arm of the 80-year-old woman and her injury is serious. The child sustained a minor injury. Another woman suffers from a torso injury but it isn’t serious,” said a local source.
The 80-year-old woman was admitted to the Tenasserim General Hospital.
There have been frequent military movements around Ban La Mut and nearby villages and residents who live alongside the Union Highway Road have fled the area.
The junta’s army has tightened security in the villages and routinely shoot motorists and arbitrarily arrest villagers.
