Junta’s army torching houses in Min Pyin village during confrontation

HURFOM: The military junta has been battling with the local revolutionary forces for two months, September and October, 2025, in Min Pyin village and Pa La Town, Pu Law Township, Tenasserim Division. Junta forces have also been torching houses during the confrontation.
On September 28th, the junta’s army torched two houses in Min Pyin village and burnt down 11 other houses from October 4th to 8th.
On October 13th, 2024, the junta’s army again torched five houses in Min Pyin village.
“The five houses were completely burnt down. Some houses had a small damage,” said a local villager.
Thousands of residents from Pa La Town, Min Pyin and nearby villages have fled due to heavy armed clashes, air and artillery attacks and the torching of houses. As of October 15th, displaced persons have been unable to return home.
On October 2nd, the monastery in the village was also damaged by the junta’s airstrike.
As of today, 40 houses in Min Pyin village have been destroyed and at least 20 villagers were injured by junta attacks.
