Junta arrests a tricycle driver in Pu Law

HURFOM: On September 25, 2023, a tricycle driver was arrested by the military junta at Mee Laung Chaung check-point, Pu Law Town, Tenasserim Division.
U Kalar Gyi is from Ta Bo village and he was arrested at his home after attending to a passenger.
“He was arrested at 10 pm and sent to Myeik. But no one knows his whereabouts,” said a local source.
On September 21, 2023, the junta also arrested 11 residents from Ward #3 and #4, Pa La Town, Pu Law Township. To date, only two of the 11 were released recently.
