Artillery attack in Kaw Ka Rate kills resident and injures three

HURFOM: At about 5 pm on June 28, 2023, artillery shells were dropped on Ward #3, Kaw Ka Rate Town, Karen State, and the explosions killed a resident and injured another three, according to a ground report.
“The military junta are afraid of being attacked (by the PDF) and they launch indiscriminate artillery attacks every day. At first, they launched three artillery attacks and then, they launched another two. The shells dropped and exploded in Ward #3,” said a Kaw Ka Rate resident.
The artillery attack killed 50-year-old U Soe Myint, and injured another two women and a man.
The injured victims were sent to Kaw Ka Rate General Hospital by a local rescue team.
