Junta’s regiment arrests four Tha Byar villagers

HURFOM: On September 14th, 2025, the joint revolutionary forces attacked the junta’s security gate stationed on the “Pagoda Hill” in Htein Thit Ward, Long Lone Town, Long Lone Township, Tenasserim Division.
In the morning of September 15th, the junta’s regiment stationed at the immigration office in Long Lone Town advanced into Tha Byar village and searched the residents’ houses.
Then, the regiment arrested Ko Soe Phay, Ko Maung Hla Htwe, Ko Min Ho and his son, according to local sources.

“After the armed clash, the army searched houses nearby the Tha Byar school and the “Nat Yay Ta Nar” Monastery and looted the belongings. They also arrested the Tha Byar villagers. The regiment is still stationing on the “Pagoda Hill” in Htein Thit Ward, Long Lone Town,” said a resident.
The local residents have to flee their homes as the regiment is still active around Long Lone Town and Tha Byar village as of the morning of September 15th.
Last month, the junta’s regiment stationed at the Office of the General Administration Department in Long Lone Town searched empty houses nearby the “Pan Taw Wa” Monastery and the “Kyan Taw Shaung” area and looted food and valuable things, local villagers reported HURFOM.
