Junta’s artillery attack injuries two villagers in Thanbyuzayat

HURFOM: On April 5th, 2025, the junta’s regiment based in Yell Ta Gon village launched 120-mm artillery attack to Ka Lane Pa Daw village, Thanbyuzayat Township, Mon State without having any active armed clash in nearby area and the artillery explosion injured two villagers, according to local reports.
“Two civilians – a man and a woman were injured by the attack. A house was also burnt down by the artillery explosion,” said a local source.
The man sustained injuries at his right hand and abdomen while the woman was injured at her left arm and right leg.
In order to provide aid to victims of the March-28 deadliest earthquake and do rehabilitation projects, the military council has announced that the junta will temporarily cease fire from April 2nd to 22nd, 2025; however, there have been constant air assaults and artillery attacks on the ground.
