HURFOM: On October 21, 2025, junta forces indiscriminately fired artillery shells at Nat Twin Village in Yebyu Township, Dawei District, even though no clashes had occurred in the area.
The shelling destroyed four houses, a car, and two motorcycles, according to local residents.
A woman from Nat Twin told HURFOM that the shelling began around noon and caused panic among villagers.

“About four artillery shells landed inside the village. Several homes and vehicles were damaged. Thankfully, no one was injured,” she said.
Residents said the No. 304 Artillery Battalion, stationed in Kyauk Ka Nyar Village on the eastern bank of the Dawei River, was responsible for the attack. Nat Twin Village lies on the opposite western bank.
In addition, one artillery shell fired from the same battalion landed near Nying Htwe Village, also along the western riverbank, but did not cause casualties.
The shelling has left villagers fearful of renewed attacks, with many expressing concern that random artillery fire could resume at any time, forcing them to flee their homes once again.
