Junta airstrike injures ten villagers in Tenasserim

HURFOM: On October 10th, 2025, the military junta dropped bombs on Ta Ku village, Tenasserim Township, Tenasserim Division that injured at least ten villagers including a schoolboy.

At about 9 am, a fighter jet dropped two bombs on the village and the bombs exploded near the fire brigade office and the market. The office building was also destroyed.

We heard the sound of aircraft at about 9:40 am so we let all the children in the school return home. The bomb dropped when they were going back home and the explosion injured a student. A woman who was near the market was also injured. The Fire Brigade building was also damaged,” said a local man.

HURFOM was informed that some of the injured villagers are in critical condition.

There was no armed clash at the time of bombing.  Junta forces also fired machine guns at the village.

There was no confrontation in Ta Ku. The armed clashes took place about 15 miles far away. No one fled the village. All the shops have been closed since the airstrike,” said a villager.

Ta Ku village is under the control of the joint revolutionary forces and the military junta has banned transportation of food, medicine, gasoline and household items to the village.
