Three local men killed in a single night in Thaton

HURFOM: On the night of May 5th, 2025, three local men were shot and killed at a farm near Taung Kyar Ward, Tu Wunna Wati Town, Thaton Township, Mon State.
The victims were 30-year-old Win Ko Oo, 23-year-old Soe Pyae Htoo and 22-year-old R Pay Kaw and all of them lived in Taung Kyar Ward.
“All of them were notorious for distributing illicit drugs in the ward. But we don’t know how they were killed,” said a Tu Wunna Wati resident.
The father of R Pay Kaw first saw their dead bodies and the bodies were sent to the Thane Sake General Hospital with the assistance of the “Tu Wunna Wati” organization for funeral service. The dead bodies were cremated at noon on May 6th.
Both the military junta and the revolutionary forces have announced nothing related to the murder, so no one knows who is responsible for the killing.
On May 2nd, 41-year-old U Than Soe from Htin Shuu village, Thanbyuzayat Township, was shot and killed.
Similarly, on March 10th, two young men were shot and killed at the entrance of Ka Log Taw village, Mudon Township and no one knows who is responsible for the killing.
