Junat’s air assault injures three villagers in Tenasserim

HURFOM: On October 26th, 2024, for two hours, the junta dropped bombs on Lell Thit and Thane Naw villages, Tenasserim Township, Tenasserim Division. There have been no active armed clashes in the area and the air assault injured two women and a man from Lell Thit village.
68-year-old U Thin Hla, 55-year-old Daw Khin Nwe and 32-year-old Daw Thidar Win were hit by the artillery debris and sustained injuries to their legs, arms, faces and backs.
“All the three injured villagers are from Lell Thit village. There was no armed clash but the junta dropped bombs. Two of them are in critical condition,” said a local woman.
Locals reported to HURFOM that there has been no active armed clash, the military junta has been launching reckless air assaults and indiscriminate artillery attacks, on villages in the area.
On October 9th, 2024, the junta’s indiscriminate artillery attacks killed a seven-year-old child.
