Elder woman killed by artillery attack in Pu Law

HURFOM: On August 19, 2023, a 75-year-old woman from Lat Car village, Pu Law Township, Tenasserim Division was hit by an artillery attack launched by the military junta. She died at the scene.
“The artillery shell dropped beside her house and she was killed by the explosion. Two artillery shells dropped into Lat Car village (on that day),” said a local villager.
On August 9, two 15-year-old children were injured by junta’s artillery attacks.
Within three days, one villager was killed and another five were injured by the junta’s reckless artillery attacks in Pu Law Township.
