Junta’s soldiers killed two villagers in Pu Law attack

HURFOM: Military junta’s soldiers launched an attack on Pu Law Township, Tenasserim Division on March 25, 2023. During their assault, they shot and killed two villagers.
The victims were U Tin Oo, a 56-year-old resident of Pu Law Gone village, and Ko Myo Min Thua, a 34-year-old from Nut Eain Taung village.
“On that day, there was an armed clash between the junta and the Pu Law People Defense Forces. The villagers were trying to flee. Then, U Tin Oo encountered the military column and he was shot and killed. Another villager was also shot and killed on the way to Nut Eain Taung,” said a villager from Pu Law Gone village.
A source who wants to remain anonymous said the pro-military Telegram Channel stated that the two deceased were the members of PDF, and that is why the military shot and killed them.
