Junta recklessly shoots and kills a villager in Bilin

HURFOM: On June 5th, 2025, a joint team of the military junta was conducting a check on unlicensed vehicles at the Than Da Dar Security Gate near Taung Zoon village, Bilin Township, Mon State when they were attacked by revolutionary armed forces.
In response, junta forces recklessly shot and killed 52-year-old U Zaw Hein Aung who was riding his motorbike.

“U Zaw Hein Aung just returned from his rubber plantation. They shot him and he was killed on the spot. The bullets penetrated his armpit and back,” said a Taung Zoon villager.
The body of U Zaw Hein Aung was cremated at the Taung Zoon village cemetery on June 6th. He leaves behind his wife and four children.
On May 30th, 2025, a regiment from the Win Tar Ban military base in Thaton Township, Mon State also arrested, shot and killed a 50-year-old Pane Nell Taw villager Saw Lar Htu.
