Junta’s drone attack injuries three Thane Za Yet residents

HURFOM: On March 13th, 2025, the Thane Za Yet based 310th artillery regiment dropped bombs by drones on a security gate manned by the People’s Defense Force. The incident took place near Moke Kha Malt village, Kyike Hto Township, Mon State. There was no active armed clash in the area at that time.
One of the bombs exploded in front of a house at the base of U Thi La Mount near Than Za Yet Town.
57-year-old U Sein Tint, his 54-year-old wife Daw Kyi Win and 28-year-old Ko Thell were hit by bomb debris and sustained injuries.
“The type of drone bomb was a (47Q KV 75292 42871). Daw Kyi Win sustained a serious injury to her knee. U Sein Tint and Ko Thell have minor injuries. They have been receiving treatment at the Than Za Yet Town General Hospital,” said a local source.
On March 4th, 2025, another artillery attack by the 310th artillery regiment injured a child.
According to local villagers, even though there has been no active armed clash, the Thane Za Yet based 310th artillery regiment has routinely launched artillery, drone and air attacks targeting villages under the control of the Karen National Union.
