Junta’s air assault injures three women including two teenagers in Tenasserim

HURFOM: On March 3rd, 2025, even though there was no active armed clash, the military junta dropped two bombs on Tha Mee Hla village, Tenasserim Township, Tenasserim Division. The air assault injured three local women including a 12-year-old girl, a 14-year-old girl, and an elderly woman Phwar Khin Sein.
“There was no armed clash at all. The two children suffered injuries to their lower torsos. All of the victims are dealing with minor injuries,” said a local source.
The air assault also damaged some houses in the village.
On March 1st, 2025, the junta launched a reckless air assault on Mar Yan Chaung village, Ta Ku village track, Tenasserim Township that damaged religious buildings at the village monastery.

“The bomb attack started at about 8 am. The military aircraft was a K8W fighter jet. Upon hearing the sound of air assault, villagers ran and hid in a safe place. There were no casualties, but the village monastery was damaged,” said a local man.
The military junta has been launching constant, and reckless air assaults targeting villages in Tenasserim Township. Residents live in fear and uncertainty.
