Junta’s drone attack injures a woman and destroys three houses in Tenasserim

HURFOM: On October 8th, 2024, the 561st light infantry battalion based in Nyaung Pin Kwin village used drone and dropped at least ten bombs on West Ban Law village track, Tenasserim Township, Myeik District, Tenasserim Division.
The drone attack injured 62-year-old Daw Nwe and destroyed three houses.
“On assumption of the presence of the People Defense Forces, the junta dropped bombs at 1 pm. The bombs dropped on her house and Daw Nwe got injured when she was in the toilet,” said a local villager.
The local villagers reported HURFOM that unexploded bombs still existed in the surrounding areas.
On October 2nd, 2024, the drone attack by the military junta killed 6-year-old child and injured other three villagers from West Maw Tone village.
On October 7th, the junta had recklessly launched air assault to an old military base in Thane Naw village and Inn Shay Gone village, Ta Ku village track.
On September 23rd, 2024, the junta’s drone attack also injured three local women from Nyaung Pin Gone village.
