Junta’s artillery attack injures eight Bilin residents

HURFOM: On May 11th, 2024, the military junta targeted Down Yet village, Bilin Township, Mon State with multiple indiscriminate artillery attacks that injured eight residents including a seven-year-old child.
The 314th artillery regiment based in Zee Win, Bilin Township launched 12, 120mm artillery attacks on the village.
The artillery explosions injured eight residents including three men, three women and a child.
“Three motorbikes were destroyed and a cow was killed. Houses were damaged. Here, there have been artillery attacks every day. At the moment, these attacks are getting more frequent,” said a resident from Down Yet village.
The eight injured victims received treatment at the liberated area controlled by the Karen National Union.
