Ten boys arrested after Lamine administrative officials shot and killed

HURFOM: On September 28th, 2025, Administrator U Kyaw Oo and Hundred-Household Leader U Than Win from Myo Ma (1) Ward, Lamine Town, Ye Township, Mon State were shot and killed.
After the incident, the junta’s army blocked the Lamine – Thaung Pyi, the Lamine – Maw Ka Nin and the Lamine – Kawdut roads and arrested at least ten young boys.
The army also arrested 30-year-old Nai Ah Kee, a resident of Maw Ka Nin after accusing him of having a connection with the murder case.
“The incident happened yesterday and today, the army came straight to Nai Ah Kee’s house and arrested him without any strong reason. They said Nai Ah Kee’s uncle was the major of the revolutionary force so he must have connections with the case. Then, they also arrested more than ten young boys — 14 or 15 years old,” said a Maw Ka Nin resident.
The arrested boys have already been released after paying 50,000 MMK per head to the army.
On September 14th, while at their homes, Administrators of An Din and Ngar Hmyar Sakarn village, Ye Township were shot by the revolutionary forces.
