A regiment had launched a military operation based from the Ah Nyar Zu village, Wall Township, Pegu Division that sent at least ten artillery attacks to villages on the Sit Taung bank in Kyike Hto Township. The artillery shells exploded in Win Kan and Chaung Wa villages.

The regiment targeted artillery attacks to the places they believed were residences of the PDF – the People’s Defense Forces. The junta is launching artillery attacks every day here and we have to dig “bomb shelter” for our safety,” said a resident from Win Kan village.

Ma Thel Su Lin was sent to Thein Za Ye General Hospital and her condition is not life-threatening.
