Five family members injured by artillery explosion in Kaw Ka Rate

HURFOM: On November 4, 2023, even though there was no armed clash, the military junta launched an artillery attack on Kaw Ka Rate Town, Karen State and injured five family members including a three-year-old child.
The junta’s artillery shell exploded near a house in Ward #1, Kaw Ka Rate Town and injured a child and four women.
“The artillery shell dropped even though there was no armed clash. Five people including a child sustained injuries. Two women are in critical condition,” said an official from a local rescue team.
The victims have been sent to Kaw Ka Rate District General Hospital by the rescue team.
On November 2, there was another artillery explosion in Kaw Ka Rate Town, and the explosion injured two women.
