Air assault injures child and damages two houses in Tenasserim

HURFOM: On June 13fh, 2024, the military junta launched an air assault on Ta Gu village, Tenasserim Township, Tenasserim Division, that injured a 12-year-old child and destroyed two houses.
According to local sources, even though there was no active armed clash in the nearby area, the junta launched the military operation and attacked the village with air strikes.
“A grocery store in Pyi Aye village and a house near the fire brigade in Tan Tike village were destroyed. A nephew of the grocery store owner was also injured,” said a villager.
The junta has launched numerous air assaults on Tenasserim Township since January, 2024, resulting in school closures in the village track.
