HURFOM: At about 1:30 am on November 13th, 2025, an express bus travelling on the Yangon – Mawlamyine Highway Road struck a landmine near Dough Yat village, Bilin Township, Mon State.  A female traveler was injured in the explosion.

The bus was heading to Paung and it carried about ten travelers. A female traveler was hit by landmine debris and was injured. It isn’t life-threatening,” said a resident.

31-year-old Ma Tin Tin Win from Moke Soe Kwin village, Myaung Mya Township, Irrawaddy Division sustained an injury to her thigh.  She has been admitted to the Bilin Township General Hospital.

Junta regiments have been hiding to ambush the Dough Yat village; however, military lobbyists claim that the revolutionary forces were responsible for the attack.

Local revolutionary forces have denied the accusation.
